About Captain Ron’s

Captain Ron’s opened its doors in November of 2006. This buried treasure was an old, 1960’s mobile home park in much need of some tender loving care. After a year of patching and fixing, we decided to just tear it down and start all over. After three months of construction the new Captain Ron’s set sail.

During the summer of 2008, we went to work on the rest of the property. We added 300 feet of lakefront, making 700 feet in total. Three more rental homes were remodeled, making 7 all together. We completed Treasure Pass which makes for an easy stroll to all of the rentals. We added our second beach, Cannonball Beach, two new tiki bars, both of which came from Shooters, and a second beach volleyball court.

On Fridays and Saturday nights you’ll find some of the best live entertainment at the lake and during the summer, we’ll have a little something for everyone during our 100 days of summer activities. Check our web site for the latest schedule.

So come by land or sea and bring the kids. Meet some new friends or just hang out at the tiki bars. But most of all, just relax. We know you’ll have a great time.

Our pirate theme Restaurant is a must see for every pirate – young or old. Come enjoy our large dining room, covered deck or outside patio area while watching the kids play in the sand on one of two beaches.

Our Captain’s Quarters are perfect for your private dinner or anniversary party. For larger groups and weddings, check out Cannonball Beach.

Can't tell you about the food or service because, at our Noon arrival, they communicated that they had decided to remain closed on a mid-late August Wednesday when their scheduled had them open.  They were however very gracious in telling us that we could stay and use the beach with our two young granddaughters.  Not often that you can spend a couple of hours on a lake beach, on a beautiful day, all by yourselves!
